Background & Experience

Gregory Baca was born and raised by his father; a truck driver and local pastor; as well as his mother; a homemaker, in Belen New Mexico. After completing high school he went on to join the nuclear Navy where his main areas of study included nuclear power production, nuclear physics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics, with specialized training in chemistry and health physics. Upon completion, he joined the crew of the USS Nimitz and was deployed to the Persian Gulf as part of operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He was decorated and honorably discharged.

Upon completion of service Gregory acquired, operated, and resold several businesses including a hotel, restaurant, retail art and gift shop, candle manufacturing and distributing wholesale company, and several residential rental properties. In the corporate setting Gregory has extensive sales and negotiation experience. He was a Enron era commodities trader and load scheduler for the local utility where he dispatched electrical generation from Palo Verde Nuclear , San Juan and Four Corners coal generation plants to meet local demands and sold traded excess electrical production for profit in the southwest energy markets.

Gregory’s main focuses of study in law are those related to Criminal Defense, Business law, and Family Law. His unique mix of specialized experience and legal education equips him to provide valuable insight to those problems requiring creative solutions for the benefit of the client.
